This is the full list of all one-letter finds, from Afind to Zfind.

Letter Multithreading Speed Direction Rulespace Remarks
A No quite slow No idea OTCA Very prone to finding still lives: sfind, which is based on this also does that.
B Yes Very fast Alternates between width and length-first per row OTCA Fast, but usually ends up finding frothing puffers (use ixpx2)
C No quite slow No idea HROT/multistate Uses little RAM but slow
D Yes Fast Random HRI Based on ixpx2, LLSSS and LLS. Uses tons of RAM but fast and effective
E No Above average No idea INT Optimisation of Cfind for speed.
F Yes Fast Breadth-first HRI Fast, does not care about period and almost guaranteed success, but uses tons of RAM.
G No Average Depth-first OTCA Most popular, but I prefer the flamboyant programs.
H Yes Surprisingly Fast Depth-first HRI The higher the period the faster it runs. Uses RAM proportional to the sixth power of the period though.
I Yes Very Fast Alternating INT Fast, uses little RAM, but prone to finding oscillators
J Yes Astronomically fast Alternating HRI Optimised for quantum computers, takes advantage of qubits and parallel universes.
K Yes Considerably slow Breadth-first INT Can be made to use very little RAM as it selects the most hopeful partial and builds from there. Based on nfind.
L Yes Slow Random INT Combination of LLS and ifind. Slow but 100% effective.
M No Average Random OTCA produces odd-looking spaceships.
N Yes Medium Length-first INT Has a partial rating system, based on qfind
O No Fast ? INT Meant to find oscillators.
P Yes Fast Alternating HRI Also meant to find oscillators, but generally faster
Q Yes Fast Random OTCA Basically Gfind but faster. Nothing unique
R Yes Average Lenth-first HRI A wider version of qfind. Nothing interesting
S Yes Fast Random HRI Fast and uses little RAM but finds still lives frequently. Based on afind
T Yes Astronomically Fast Random HRI A version of jfind meant for biological computers.
U Yes Slow Back and forth HRI Based on kfind and jfind but self-checks.
V Yes Fast Random INT A variant of ixpx2 that can create spaceships from scratch. Tends to form V-shaped spaceships, hence its name.
W Yes Very Fast Random INT Meant to find puffers, tends to find very dirty ones. Fast, uses little RAM.
X Yes Slow Random ANCA Made for directional CA. Not fast though.
Y Yes Average Random HRI Does not care about period but uses tons of RAM.
Z Yes Fast Breadth-first HRI Breadth-first Gfind.
