- November 7, 2024: ColorfulGalaxy discovered a variant of Koenig's Colourised Life that uses modular arithmetic instead of rational number arithmetic to determine the new cell's color. A computer program has been written to generate rule tables for these rules.
- October~November 2024: ColorfulGalaxy started the "OCA 1CPG" project, which features linear growth patterns growing by exactly one cell per generation. The discoveries include:
- On October 24, ColorfulGalaxy found two gun-based patterns: one of them consists of six Gosper glider guns, one Scot's p5 oscillator, two harbors and seventeen chemists, which runs in multiple rules ranging from Life to B37c8/S238; the other runs in tlife.
- On October 24, ColorfulGalaxy noticed that the bullet heptomino grows similarly in rule B1e/S012345678. It was later reduced to 6 cells on November 1, then finally to 5 cells (P-pentomino) on the following day.
- On October 24, ColorfulGalaxy found a pattern consisting of a gun and an oscillator in Wilfred.
- On October 24, ColorfulGalaxy assembled a One per generation pattern using six copies of a wire extruder in the multistate rule JvN29.
- On October 24, ColorfulGalaxy assembled a One per generation pattern using two copies of a c/4 diagonal tubstretcher in VesselLife.
- On October 25, ColorfulGalaxy assembled a One per generation pattern using an eight-barrel glider gun built from a simple duplicator, plus five copies of a particular period-5 oscillator in rule Glitter^2.
- On November 1, ColorfulGalaxy assembled a One per generation pattern using two copies of a c/2 orthogonal wickstretcher in FWKnightship's multistate rule "SoManyShips2".
- On November 1, ColorfulGalaxy proved that at least 3.1% of all non-strobing range-1 outer-totalistic Generations rules have a One per generation pattern. To be more exact, these patterns are light speed wavestretchers.
- On November 2, FWKnightship discovered a 3-cell One per generation pattern in rule B2a3n/S01c2c. This is the smallest known in an isotropic rule.
- On November 3, ColorfulGalaxy assembled a One per generation pattern in BokaBB's rule Traffic Flow.
- On November 3, User:pifricted discovered a One per generation pattern in rule B2aei3e/S.
- August 8, 2024: ColorfulGalaxy built an isotropic non-totalistic Colourised Life rule where all live states are treated equally, and parent cells of three different colors do not generate a fourth color.
- April 12, 2022: iNoMed, David Raucci and James Pascua assemble a new-record smallest period-36 glider gun using only one engine
