Bee hat (or hat with eater head siamese beehive) is a 15-bit still life that is a siamization of a beehive and a hungry hat.
Commonness
- Main article: List of common still lifes
Bee hat is the seventy-fifth most common still life in Achim Flammenkamp's census, being less common than cis-loaf with tail but more common than trans-rotated bun.[1]
It is the 77th most common still life on Adam P. Goucher's Catagolue, being less common than claw with tail but more common than cis-mirrored dove. It is the 4th most common still life with 14 cells, being less common than trans-bun and wing but more common than trans-boat on dock.[2]
Formation
Bee hats usually, but not always, form from the same predecessor. Two damaged traffic light predecessors are shown below; sometimes the bee hat predecessors join one or two generations later, and occasionally, it forms completely differently.
