FuseArt is a 3-state cellular automaton which is a hybrid of B3/S34 and B3/5678. It was found by pifricted.

The Rule

The FuseArt universe has the following states:

• State 0:died
• State 1:alive cell 1(B3/S34)
• State 2:alive cell 2(B3/S5678)

Cells behave as follows:

• A cell in state 0:
  • If there are 3 cells in its neighborhood, it takes the state which 2 or 3 cells have the state.
• A cell in state 1:
  • If there are 3 or 4 live cells in its neighborhood,it’ll remains as state 1.
  • If there are 5,6,7 or 8 live cells in its neighborhood,it’ll become state 2.
  • Else, it dies.
• A cell in state 2:
  • If there are 3 or 4 live cells in its neighborhood,it’ll become state 1.
  • If there are 5,6,7 or 8 live cells in its neighborhood, it’ll remains as state 2.
  • Else, it dies.

Still lives

There’re many still lives in FuseArt. Most of them and almost all natural ones are made of state 1 and 2.The still lives in B3/S34 can exist here and are only made with state 1 cells.

Wickstretcher

A wickstretcher occurs commonly from a soup, which stretches a wick which is unknown if periodic.

Soups

A random soup typically explodes, but in an interesting way. Soups usually evolve into "curves" which split and annihilate. Spaceships and wickstretchers may appear. Occasionally, a small soup becomes an explosion resembling one in Life Without Death. However, the explosion may hit an object or degrades by itself, into the typical explosion.
