Missing description of existing ways to create hybrid rules, with links to relevant forum posts

A hybrid rule[1] is a multistate rule obtained by combining two or more known rules in some way. The resulting hybrid rule may preserve some attributes of the combined rules, and may or may not have new forms of spaceships, oscillators or still lifes.

There is an ambiguity/free choice when deciding how the combined rules should interact in a hybrid rule.[2][1][3]

Apart from the many ways to create a hybrid multistate rule from two or more simpler rules with fewer cellstates, sometimes a two-state rule is referred to as a "hybrid" of other two-state rules. For example, B2-ac3i/S023 was referred to as a hybrid of Just Friends (B2-a/S12) and Life (B3/S23),[4] even though the rule cannot be obtained "mechanically" by combining Just Friends with Life.
