Construction

Occurrence
Among the 240 still lifes with 13 cells, this is the 55th most common still life according to Catagolue.
The octo3obj database contains two collisions with this still life occurring in the ash. Both collisions converge to a sequence with one escaping glider and final population 90. One of two collisions is shown below; the other one can be obtained by removing the bottom block of the bi-block.
