Trans-block on candlefrobra is a period-3 oscillator involving a candlefrobra being stabilised by a block in trans position.

Trans-block on candlefrobra is about the fortieth most common naturally-occurring oscillator in Achim Flammenkamp's census, being less common than fore and back and xp2_8e1t2gozw23, about as common as the trans-beacon down on long bookend, and more common than the caterer and the beehive on griddle.[1] On Catagolue, it is the third most common period-3 oscillator, being 11.1 times less common than jam but 1.93 times more common than caterer. It is also 2.88 times more common than the cis isomer.[2]

Glider synthesis

A 6-glider synthesis of this oscillator was found and submitted to Catagolue by Carson Cheng[3] in March 2022.[4]
