Purpose Discover signal circuitry
Created by Adam P. Goucher
Platform Google Colab notebook; Linux/Unix; Windows

Silk is a drifter search program, created by Adam P. Goucher, that was inspired by Mitchell Riley's Barrister. It contains a ported version of Barrister's underlying algorithm, and was designed to use the greater parallelism in GPUs. It is designed to discover signal circuitry capable of turning, splitting and converting signals into gliders. It requires a Nvidia GPU to run locally, but it can also be ran in a Google Colab notebook.[1]
