Octomino II is a semi-common evolutionary sequence that evolves into a diagonally symmetric constellation of two blocks, two blinkers, and a ship seen below after 116 generations.
In generation 52, it becomes a traffic light predecessor and a butterfly predecessor that will later interact in generation 62. The sequence gains diagonal symmetry in generation 56. Generation 86 is two R-pentominoes that will later interact in generation 101.
There are several known octomino II hasslers. The Gabriel's p138 oscillator features four octomino II sequences supporting each other in a rotationally symmetric way.
