Not to be confused with glider.

G is an induction coil with a three-cell edge. By itself, it becomes a honey farm on generation 46.

The three cells on the unstable edge of the G all have two neighbors, so it can be used on one or both sides of a spark coil. The most common period-2 oscillator to use a G ranks 43rd; it has a G on one side and a typical house on the other. A "hungry G" variant (tail replaced with nine) ranks 75th, but a version with two Gs is much rarer, ranking slightly behind #300.

Like other induction coils, it can function as a typical three-cell edge to create still lifes.
