Ocellus is a period-114 oscillator, being the second-smallest example of a relay construction using p6 thumbs allowing all oscillators of periods 90 + 24n to be constructed with 92 cells. It was formerly the smallest known p114 oscillator, until the discovery of caterer on 44P38 in 2022. It uses Michael Simkin's reduction of Noam Elkies' 180-degree reflector.[1] A glider synthesis for this oscillator was found by Jeremy Tan on September 5, 2021.[2]
