Why bother[1] (or two cis griddles with two tubs[2]) is a period-2 oscillator that strongly resembles why not and by flops.
Commonness
- Main article: List of common oscillators
Why bother is between the 550th and 600th most common period 2 oscillator. It is about four times rarer than the similar antiphase why bother.
Glider synthesis
goldenratio found a 6-glider synthesis of this oscillator on November 9, 2020.[3]
