Motor grader

When you "moved" 139P7H1V0 to Motor grader, is there a reason you didn't use the Move feature (under the More menu)? With this copy-paste approach the page history gets fragmented. Chris857 (talk) 00:07, 11 August 2026 (UTC)

I thought I wouldn't be able to move the page because there already was a redirect from "Motor grader" to "139P7H1V0". If I was wrong, I'll try moving pages directly the next time I need to. MDA (talk) 09:17, 11 August 2026 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure you should be able to move to an existing redirect page. mediawiki page - "If the destination page already exists as a redirect pointing to the source page with only one revision, it is possible to automatically delete the redirect to make way for the move" Chris857 (talk) 13:47, 11 August 2026 (UTC)

I'll do that next time. It's too late now. MDA (talk) 17:34, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
