Heights is an isotropic non-totalistic cellular automaton. It has the rulestring of B3678/S23-a678. In this rule, patterns tend to stabilize quickly, despite the number of birth and survival transitions.
History
It was first rulegolfed form Travelling Ts on June 17, 2025, and was first apgsearched on July 14, 2025. The first infinite growth pattern, a period-4 wickstrecher, was found on July 19, 2025.
