The excavator is an agar puffer (like an agar crawler that leaves debris behind relative to the agar) that travels across a grid of blinkers at 4c/15. The grid of blinkers is notable since it is the result of simulating large lines in HighLife. It commonly occurs naturally within the agar, if it is disturbed.
Notably, it leaves a line of blinkers in the centre intact via a transparent reaction.
