Traffic jam/snippet

A traffic jam can either refer to any traffic light hassler (such as traffic circle), or the specific reaction shown to the right. In this reaction, two traffic lights interact in such a way as to reappear after 25 generations with an extra 6 spaces between them.
Traffic jam oscillators are infinitely extensible. Periods of 0 mod 4, and 2 mod 4 can be made in different ways as long as sparkers exist; in 1994 the known usable sparkers were p4 (mold, T-nosed p4, and heavyweight emulator), p5 (fumarole), and p6 (unix). A period-7 option was added in 1999 as soon as the p7 pipsquirter was discovered. Traffic-jam oscillators provided the first examples of oscillators at periods 102, 104, 110, 112, 126, 140, and 148.
