Catagolue links in other rules

If we're making infoboxes for alien patterns, we should probably add a "rule" field so that gets added to the Catagolue link. Appending the rule to the apgcode leads to https://catagolue.hatsya.com/object/apgcode/rule/b3s23 which somehow works but seems like a bad solution. --Galoomba (talk) 22:59, 4 September 2023 (UTC)

Yup, and that would be yet another rule-related parameter, in addition to "rulespecial" and rulemin/rulemax parameters. As I already said on Tiki bar, I'm not sure whether it is a good idea to have that many parameters to be filled whenever someone is adding a new pattern page.
Appending the rule to the apgcode is a working solution, and with {{EmbedViewer}} it is the common way to handle these cases. Confocal (talk) 23:42, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
