• The specific formatting you are suggesting is/can be used in a wide variety of cases (e.g. filenames). Having a dedicated template for a specific use of the formatting (as opposed to the formatting itself) allows to specify intentions explicitly and will enable changing formatting if/when needed, without having to painstakingly find and edit every page.
