Template:About

This is a template for disambiguating two pages with similar names, to be used at the top of an article. It takes three parameters in the following order:

• A brief description of the topic of the current article (e.g. "the 6-cell still life")
• A brief description of the other article with a similar name (e.g. "the extensible c/3 spaceship")
• The name of the other article (e.g. "Barge (spaceship)")

Here is a simple example of its usage:

You type:

{{About|the 6-cell still life|the extensible c/3 spaceship|Barge (spaceship)}}

You see:

This article is about the 6-cell still life. For the extensible c/3 spaceship, see Barge (spaceship).
