Talk:Wing
Three articles needed?
Do nine, block and glider, and wing all need their own article, or should they be merged into one article with the name Wing? They're the same sequence. I can see T-tetromino getting its own article (there are 9 generations between it and anything else with its own non-redirect page, some T-tetrominoes such as the ones in pre-pulsars never become traffic lights, and it's also well-known for being a c/2 or c/5 spaceship in OCA), but not this.
The merged article should be about the evolutionary sequence; the fact that the wing is an induction coil is very minor compared to the sequence. HotdogPi (talk) 13:55, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- I agree that the articles should be merged. Your proposed merger looks good, so feel free to edit the pages accordingly (it's easy enough to revert if someone objects). I also support using "Wing" as the title for the page.

Is the still life tabulation completely irrelevant?
The tabulation was not made by me, and here is a copy for reference: GUYTU6J (talk) 13:36, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
Still life
Nine is a part of several still lifes, as shown in the table below.
Wing can act as an induction coil and it is sometimes called R-loaf when being used this way. Two wings suffice to make a still life, with five possible isomers:
A sixth still life exists in which physical connection between both wings exists:
