What's the policy of having a main-namespace article link to someone's userpage? I've never seen this happen anywhere else on any encyclopædia. It would be the equivalent of a comprehensive guide to different bird species, under the entry for 'robin', casually mentioning that one of the authors (with a cross-reference to the 'about the author' page) happened to have once received a Christmas card with a robin on its design. This may be true, but not of interest to the readers of an encyclopædia. Calcyman (talk) 13:03, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
I don't think there's any explicit policy saying you're not allowed to do so, however I do remember Dave Greene saying it's considered bad practice. Ian07 (talk) 13:51, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
As you can see, 37P7.1's bounding box reduces by four columns leftwards but protrudes four rows beneath 38P7.2's (and three beneath the eater), however 41P7.2 is two rows shorter while the same width, and seems the least obtrusive. It isn't so unambiguous of an improvement as the p11 bumper, does anyone more well-versed in actually using it have a more informed opinion?
One can also use the p7 thumb, though that is even more vertically protrusive. DroneBetter (talk) 21:46, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
34P7 and Meatball variants
This page also does not mention the new P7 bumper variants that arose from the discovery of meatball and 34P7 in 2022, meaning that this page of out of date by 4 years.
