Singling out the p46 LWSS gun

I think it's misleading to single out the p46 gliderless LWSS gun in the "See also" section. There are other gliderless LWSS guns, and there are other gliderless guns. I would rather link to the whole category "Gliderless guns" -- this is more likely to be correct and is easier to maintain, because you do not need to update all the individual "See also" sections.
Re: "gray box" -- -- although there are category links at the very bottom of the page, many readers do not notice them, and many readers do not understand what they are (because there are no nearby explanations/descriptions). Confocal (talk) 05:47, 29 July 2023 (UTC)

Again, I don't mean to be rude or mean, but i don't see your points as fully valid. While yes the gray box is placed where a reader might not see it, it's not like it would take a detective to find it if the reader is curious enough. as for readers "not understanding what they are", again simple curiosity would clear up any confusion immediately. also, having multiple category links at the bottom that would "require that reader search for the correct category link" is not a problem, since the categories have names that make it immediately clear what each category is about.C28 (talk) 06:02, 29 July 2023 (UTC)

It is a problem psychologically/practically. You want a reader to be "sufficiently curious" to (1) reach the very end of the page, (2) understand that the links in the "gray box" lead to categories, (3) notice that there's a link "Gliderless guns".
"Simple curiosity" is not as simple as it may seem -- it takes efforts and it takes time.
My basic point is that it's much better to link to the entire Category:Gliderless guns in the "See also" section once, instead of linking individual guns according to ill-defined inclusion criteria. Confocal (talk) 06:08, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
