Should the thread with minimal isotropically-endemic patterns in Life (though intended to be for any INT rule, I think) be linked to from this page, and should a history of minimal examples of such patterns (whether acknowledged for this purpose or otherwise) with LifeViewer embeds be given (similarly to in the Max page)? I also remember coming here once, looking for the configuration I'd seen on the forums, which was the provably minimal one in a hexagonal neighbourhood such that a cell with each INT transition occurs exactly once, perhaps it should be included here (or in its own page and linked to, but I don't think it's notable enough for that (unless more for different neighbourhoods were to be found)). I remember it having been known to Chinese mathematicians of antiquity before the consideration of cellular automata, I think, but I can't find it. DroneBetter (talk) 02:05, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
