For those who are curious, there are indeed linear replicators in isotropic non-totalistic Moore rules whose behaviour matches that of calcyman's "UnboundedCounter" in the reference. The smallest one by 2718281828 on July 18, 2019 has three cells in minimum phase: (reduced to isorulemin, may be added to RLE namespace later if agreed)
