Oscillizer-Web

Oscillizer-Web is an oscillator analysis tool created by Dongook Lee in July-August 2021[1] in response to Oscillizer's web implementation ceasing to function.

The tool is specifically intended to function as a replacement for the web version of Oscillizer, due to Nakano being an offline utility requiring the installation of Python alongside several dependencies.

Oscillizer-Web can produce period maps, much like Oscillizer and Nakano, but it currently does not support heat, temperature or minimum/maximum rule calculations.

Color palette

These colours are used on the period maps generated by Oscillizer-Web:

Color Usage
#FFFFFF Used for the grid
#EEEEEE Period-1 cells which are always off, i.e. background cells
#000000 Period-1 cells which are always on, i.e. stator cells
Overlay for "initially on" cells
#999999 Cells which oscillate at the full period, i.e. cells in a period-n oscillator that oscillate at period n

Subperiod colors are computed as a HSV round trip, starting from red, moving to blue, then green, then back to red. The lowest non-period-1 subperiod will always have color #FF6666.
