Long3 barge (or extra long barge) is a 12-cell still life, the long3 extension of the barge.
Glider synthesis

Long3 barge can be constructed with 4 gliders coming from two opposite directions. Another way is to start with a previously constructed very long barge, and add two cells to it (which can be done with two gliders).
Occurrence
- See also: List of common still lifes
Long3 barge is the 163rd most common still life on Adam P. Goucher's Catagolue. It is 1/4 as common as the very long barge.
The octo3obj database contains 4 collisions with this still life occurring in the ash.
Long3 barges almost always form via a traffic light being hit. There are many ways to convert the traffic light to a long3 barge.
