Cis-beehive on candlefrobra is a period-3 oscillator and one of two possible ways in which a candlefrobra can be stabilised by a beehive, the other being trans-beehive on candlefrobra.

Cis-beehive on candlefrobra is about the fifty-fifth most common naturally-occurring oscillator in Achim Flammenkamp's census[1] and the 62nd most common oscillator on Adam P. Goucher's Catagolue. On Catagolue, it is the sixth most common period 3 oscillator, being 4.20 times less common than cis-block on candlefrobra but 1.49 times more common than xp3_6a889b8ozx33, an unnamed cuphook variant. It is over 5 times more common than the trans isomer.[2]

A 7-glider synthesis of this oscillator was found in November 2020, based on a 5-glider synthesis of the cis-boat version. Which of the two cis-boat versions in specific was used is unknown.[3]
