94P53 is a period-53 oscillator discovered by Mitchell Riley on January 31, 2023 using the symmetric variant of the CatForce search program.[1]
The active region is not one of the recognizable ones, but it is formed by one specific loaf predecessor hitting a block. The elevener + fishhook + ship catalyst is the same as the one in 70P26.
Chris857 found a 44-glider synthesis on February 2, 2023.[2] The glider cost was reduced to 43 gliders in April 2023,[3] and then to 42 gliders in June 2023.[4] KtT found a 40-glider synthesis in November 2023.[5][6]
