76P86 is a period-86 oscillator discovered by the Open Science Grid on October 3, 2022[1]. It features four traffic lights and four blocks hassled by four eater 1s in a symmetric way. It is the smallest known period-86 oscillator, surpassing the period-43 glider gun with boat-bits.

A 22-glider synthesis was found on the day after its discovery.[2] On August 27, 2023, Carson Cheng found a 20-glider synthesis.[3][4]
