Pedestrian Flock is a Life-like cellular automaton in which a live cell stays alive if it has 1 or 2 neighbours and is born if it has 3 or 8 neighbours.
As of December 2023, all asymmetrical soups decay into still lifes and oscillators, and no spaceships have occurred naturally.
There are known spaceships of speeds[1] c/4, c/5, 2c/5, c/4d (with a small 2c/8d) and c/6d.
The 2c/5's, c/5, 2c/8d and c/6d are in common with Flock. The c/4d also functions in Flock, but its central mechanism becomes p8, forming another 2c/8d.

In outer-totalistic rules of the form B3(45678)/S12(678), where outer-totalistic conditions given in parentheses are optional, c/2 orthogonal spaceships may not exist.[citation needed]
In those of the form B3(4678)/S123(678), spaceships of speed c/3d may not either.[citation needed]
Linear growth
All (1,1)c/n spaceships that emit obo! sparks in their trailing edge may act as linestretchers, including the true-period (1,1)c/4 spaceship and its tagalongs.
Both linear growth engines are shared with Flock, though the second's internal period is doubled.
