Frogs is a generations rule named after its very common frog-like glider, initially investigated by Scott Robert Ladd. The rule's dynamics are similar to that of Flock.
Patterns
Still lives
The domino, beehive and any diagonal line of at least 2 cells are still lives in this rule.
Constellations
There is a common constellation consisting of three duoplets and a 3-cell diagonal line.

Oscillators
The most common oscillator in this rule is a p6. Other natural oscillator periods include p3, p4, p5 and p15. No period-2 oscillators exist (as in any Generations rule with more than two states).
Spaceships
The most common spaceship in this rule is a 6-cell c/5, with a known repeatable tagalong which has several isomers, all of which have occurred naturally. Additionally, there is a natural glide-symmetric 4c/22 (2c/11 simplified) edge-repair spaceship which creates temporary duoplets that may be removed at any time or used as sparks when they are converted to blocks before dying.

Infinite growth
The 4c/22 spaceship can be combined to create puffers.
