28P7.2 is an unnamed period 7 oscillator discovered by Dean Hickerson sometime between 1997 and November 24, 1998.[1] In terms of its 28 cells, it is tied with oscillators burloaferimeter and 28P7.1 as the smallest known period 7 oscillator.[2] In September, 2000 Mark Niemiec and Jason Summers found a 22-glider synthesis of this oscillator.[3]
