28P7.2 is an unnamed period 7 oscillator discovered by Dean Hickerson in 1998. In terms of its 28 cells, it is tied with oscillators burloaferimeter and 28P7.1 as the smallest known period 7 oscillator.[1] In September, 2000 Mark Niemiec and Jason Summers found a 22-glider synthesis of this oscillator.[2]
