P6 shuttle is a period-6 oscillator found by Nicolay Beluchenko in February 2004. A 24-glider synthesis for this oscillator was found by Mark D. Niemiec and Jason Summers the same month of its discovery.[1] It is extensible in more than one way, as shown below.

x = 25, y = 24, rule = B3/S23 o$3o$3bo$2b2o2$6bo$5b4o$6bo2bo$7b3o2$10b3o$10bo2bo$11b4o$13bo2$17bo$ 16b3o$17bobo$17bobo$18b2o$21b2o$21bobo$23bo$23b2o! #C [[ THUMBSIZE 2 THEME 6 GRID GRIDMAJOR 0 SUPPRESS THUMBLAUNCH ]] #C [[ THUMBSIZE 2 Z 16 HEIGHT 480 GPS 2 AUTOSTART LOOP 6 ]]

In March 2017, praosylen discovered an alternative stabilization hassling three blocks.[2]
