The p31 dependent reflector loop is a period-31 oscillator found by Matthias Merzenich in February 2012.[1] Like the p26 dependent reflector loop, this oscillator uses dependent reflectors which will be destroyed without an input glider present.
This oscillator was originally added to the LifeWiki under the name "p31 glider shuttle", but the term shuttle cannot be correctly used for a dependent reflector loop.[2]
