...where we can post an rle file (or other format) for know if this file is yet existing ?

When I put
X = 3, y = 3, rule = B3/S23 bob$2bo$3o!
inside the search engine Life Wiki that don't work!

When I put
"X = 3, y = 3, rule = B3/S23 bob$2bo$3o!"
in Google I obtain incoherent results!
This line must be return, it's not! :(

Maybe I miss something?

PS That works
when I input it inside the seach engine of this forum of conwaylife.com ;)
But all files are inside this forum ?
And big problem I can't enter not more than 10 words! :(

Not currently. Such a database might be possible for small patterns, if it automatically included rotations/reflections. For large patterns it would be infeasible, as there are frequently many essentially equivalent patterns. Still, it is actually a good idea.

Heinrich Koenig has a database of objects that can be searched using his "small object format" (see here for more information about his database). To search his database go here, and go to the bottom of the page. Using the small object format, type the pattern into the "Find By SOF" box and press the "By SOF" button.
For example, type this into the search box:

Code: Select all

2-111-1.

For very small objects, a few LifeWiki pages that might be a good idea to read thru:
