Rules near Travelling Ts

This is a thread for rules near Travelling Ts (B3/S23-a5).

These patterns and reactions make up what I consider the "wider TTs rulespace" (the block oscillators are stand-ins for the margolus oscillators; on the right is the eating reaction and the T rotating reaction):

Code: Select all

x = 85, y = 36, rule = B3/S23-a5
83bo$82bo$82b3o4$80b2o$80bo$81bo$80b2o9$2o13b4o$2o13b4o$2o13b4o$2o13b
4o$2o13b4o$2o13b4o$2o13b4o59bo$2o13b4o59bo$2o13b4o$2o13b4o59b2o$77b3o
$78b2o4$32bobo15bo$31b2ob2o7bo7bo$33bo8b3o4b3o!
This rulespace is between B3-cky/S2-n3-ac5iq and B2i34cejknqy5-kny67c8/S23-a4cejrtwy56-c7 (2^50 rules). A large part of that comes from the eater and t-turn, so you can probably drop those if you find something cool; in that case the space is B3aeijn/S2-kn3-acq5iq to B2ikn34-irtw5-ny67c8/S023-a4-aikq56-c7 (2^62). If you're willing to go further you can drop the Climbing C as well, bringing you into B3aeijn/S2aei3-ackq5i to B2ikn34-rtw5-n678/S023-a4-akq56-c7 (2^69).

Here's one 4 transitions off with a natural (2,1)c/10. I also found an alien P3 and P4, maybe the P3 could be a weak sparker?

Code: Select all

x = 22, y = 5, rule = B34e/S2-n3-a5-n6a
12b2o$o10bobo6bo$3o16b3o$bo8bobo7bo$9b2o!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this should fit the rulespace requirements
