Nobody has made any nominations for a while, so if you want your pattern to be the OCA discovery of the year, you should do it now!
Here you go. It's almost September now, so I may as well start it.

Voting

Put your votes in a code block, formatted as #N stars. You may put up to 5 stars per entry. You may also vote for your own entry.
Example:

Code: Select all

#137 ***
#215 *****
Voting closes on 2026-11-07 23:59:59 UTC-12:00 (Which is 4am for me so you may still have a few hours.)
Have fun voting!

Currently working to improve Life's guns and work on updating SKOPs and Isotropic rules most similar to B3/S23 to Life standards. Will get software to begin searches eventually.

I could've chose a better username, but oh well.

Still learning the ropes of cellular automata, focused on one OCA at a time. My current interest is B35/S126 and range-two LTLs.

2 of the nominations from the nomination thread are not included in the voting thread:
"Checkerboard, Day and Night" - R2INT and "The INT rule with the second most known NRSS and the most NRSS slopes" - FWKnightship
I would suggest that we close the voting thread and give everyone at least 1 more week for nominating (I know that there has not been any recent nominations but it is good to give people time to look over and check the nominations and to talk about what to include/how to format them)
There you are

Thanks -- fixed.
I'll also allow 1 week for nominations. The deadline is moved to 2026-11-07 23:59:59 UTC-12:00.

Can you recast your votes (after the week is up?)
