Here's an example: I call this Stingray.

Code: Select all

x = 49, y = 17, rule = PhotonsAdjustables
23.AB$20.C3.B2$19.AB3.A3.BA$3.AB19.B19.BA$C3.B6.AB23.BA6.B3.C2$4.B39.
B$3.ABA37.ABA$C3.B19.A19.B3.C$12.BA10.B10.AB2$20.BA5.AB3$22.AB.BA$19.
C3.B.B3.C!
This is a cool spaceship and name, but I think you should rename the thread to something like 'Thread for your pattern names' or something like that, because the thread name made it seem like it was names for new types of patterns, like non-monotonic, period-multiplied, etc, not the patterns themselves.
Mods, can this thread be moved to the sandbox?

We already had these kind of threads, one of them is also on the first page at this time. Please check before new threading.

I know this might need to be moved to the sandbox but we should at least check ThePlayzr's opinion on whether they want to keep this. The purpose of naming things, particularly in this forum which is quite academic, is initially to achieve concensus, not to develop into some different languages. It should also be realized by now that the thread topic is misspelled at first, which just feels inappropriate - however it should be left for 1and0nlycordershippr to decide on whether to accept and move this to sandbox or rather just delete it.

Where? Are you sure you didn't accidentally count this thread twice?

Create your own terminology and Thread for your naming proposals of non-CGoL unnamed patterns and rules.

I think it is enough for us to get up and check these junk.

My bad, I didn't look carefully. But as the poster above says, yes, there are definitely already such threads around.
