I don’t completely understand your post. If you want to share a discovery, then you should post it in one of these threads (depending on the kind of discovery it is):

- Thread for your unsure discoveries

- Thread For Your Accidental Discoveries

- Thread For Your Useless Discoveries

- Thread For Your Unrecognised CA

- Miscellaneous Discoveries in Other Cellular Automata

- Thread for Your Accidental Discoveries that Aren’t in CGoL

Replying to your question, the forum rules state that (emphasis mine)

If you decide to share your discovery with the forums, please do not post an image of the pattern. Instead, post the RLE code of the pattern within "pattern" tags. The easiest way to obtain the RLE code of a pattern is to select the pattern in Golly and then copy it to your clipboard.
Enclose all patterns within "pattern" tags. "LV" tags should only be used in extremely rare cases, primarily when the topic of the post is an animation displayed by LifeViewer waypoint commands included in the RLE comments. In those rare cases when using "LV" tags, the [[ THUMBNAIL ]] command should be used to reduce the amount of vertical space taken up by the viewer.

In this case, you shouldn’t post images because it is often difficult to convert images to RLE files (the format most used in this forum and in cellular automata simulation software) and often take up much space, forcing readers to scroll more than if you had used RLEs.

To post an RLE, enclose it in pattern tags:

Code: Select all

[pattern]
Put your RLE here
[/pattern]
Code tags also work but are mainly used to share scripts.

Edit (July 12th, 2026, 12:32 PM): In any case, this thread should probably be moved to the Patterns forum or to the Sandbox.
