This is a period-3 oscillator resulting from a collision between the 119P4H1V0 spaceship and a barrier of three vertical 2×2 blocks. It has a stable 13×13 bounding box.

Bounding box: 13×13
Population: 48
Period: 3

x = 13, y = 13, rule = B3/S23

Hello there! You must be new to the forums, this pattern is actually called the "Pulsar" and has existed since it's discovery in 1970.

Putting patterns into view can be done by using the code function:

Code: Select all

(insert pattern code here)
Here is the pattern you provided:

Code: Select all

x = 13, y = 13, rule = B3/S23

Would it be beneficial to merge this thread with "unsure discoveries"?

EDIT: And maybe merge some follow-up discussion with "basic questions" or a different thread?
