OCA Discovery of the Year 2025 Nominations

(Well, It's already 2026 in some place, so I posted this thread.)

Rules from this 2018 thread apply. In essence: nominations should be interesting and nontrivial, and they should be from the 2025 calendar year (UTC).

Nominations will close when the voting thread is created, which won't happen until June 1st, 2026 at earliest.

It would be appreciated if you include a short description for each of your nominations to explain why they may be interesting to others.

Two of your years seem to be off by one. I assume the discoveries need to be from 2025 and voting will start in 2026?

Unrelated, but I also think 5 months is way too long of a wait; people will forget what happened in 2025.

Thanks, at the time between 2 year, I always get confused. I think i fixed that.

Last year's voting starts also on June, so why too long?

Anyway, to keep it ontopic, here's nominations' names that's made by myself:
  • HexaSmodel rule: first infinite nested SMOSMOS...MOS on a hexagonal grid in 32 states
  • TNT: first OCA recreation of APGsembly and a lot of other things engineered
  • ugh i can't remember more...

The thread for exploration of that rule is at viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7050. I have used the p34 to construct technologies such as splitters and NAND gates.
This rule is interesting because all patterns behave the same way when XOR pasted onto a checkerboard agar.
