3 stage oscillator

i found a 3 stage oscillator that can be added onto. i am wondering if this is a first because i have looked for 3 stages before and only found one that shot a dot around
it is named "krabcat 3 stage"

it is formed by putting 4 double glider gun pieces 8 cells from a central cell

It's actually a quasar. A suggestion has been made as to exactly how it can be extended as well.

if you take one of the segments out it makes a lot of funny faces
