Chain Reaction [GAME]

by R2INT
The goal of the game is to try to add patterns such that they help destroy the ash left behind by the glider collision.
I'll start:
Code:
Select all
x = 74, y = 76, rule = B3/S23
b2o$o2bo$b2o71$72b2o$71b2o$73bo!
EDIT: An example move:
Code:
Select all
x = 74, y = 84, rule = B3/S23
3b2o$3b2o7$b2o$o2bo$b2o71$72b2o$71b2o$73bo!
PLACEMENT:
Do not remove the initial glider or any patterns that already exist. You are only allowed to add still lives or oscillators; no spaceships are allowed in the initial pattern. You can add as many patterns as you need per turn, so you can add seeds for any spaceship.
SCORING:
The score is equal to the pattern's maximum population divided by the number of initial still lives/oscillators. A game is completed once you have a diehard pattern.
Example of a completed game that scores 11:
Code:
Select all
x = 51, y = 42, rule = B3/S23
18bo$17bobo$17b2o17$25b2o$25b2o7b2o$33bo2bo$34bobo$35bo$bo15bo$obo14b

- Is the score equal to (maximum population over the entire evolution) divided by (the number of stationary objects in the initial generation)?
- By "diehard pattern", you mean any pattern that eventually dies out, regardless of how long-lived or scattered it is? (Normally, diehards are supposed to be compact and long-lived.)
- Higher score is better or lower score is better?

The scoring statistics are correct. By "diehard pattern" I mean any pattern that dies out. Higher-scoring patterns are better.
My move:
Code:
Select all
x = 102, y = 104, rule = B3/S23
25bo$24bobo$25b2o15$b2o$obo24b2o$bo24bo2bo$26bo2bo$27b2o7$24b2o3b2o$24b
2o2bo2bo$29b2o11$17b2o$17bobo$18bo58$100b2o$99b2o$101bo!
We're on track to get a score of 16+ if we are careful about how we control the chaos.

The goal of the game is to try to add patterns such that they help destroy the ash left behind by the glider collision. [...]
Unfortunately, there appears to be no sufficient protection against the game devolving into posting large randomish RLEs (instead of "help destroy the ash").

New rule: All patterns that are added must be listed as naturally occurring (not seminatural) on Catagolue, otherwise they will count as the number of minimum cells against the score, as opposed to one point. So, the 'exploit' pattern would score up to (1232)/(1025) = 1.2020, while the worst possible score would be 1.0000. (EDIT: fixed score display to account for a hat I did not see)
Also, unused patterns (patterns that are not interacted with by the collision) can be destroyed to make room for useful patterns.
I remove two useless boats and add a blinker:
Code:
Select all
x = 85, y = 91, rule = B3/S23
