Bug report: icon-exporter.py and icon-importer.py

I'm not sure where the best place is to post this, but the icon-exporter.py and icon-importer.py scripts provided with Golly 4.3 do not work on my Windows 11 machine with Python 3.12.4. I've found a couple of things that need fixing:

1) The "U" flag to open does not seem to be accepted anymore.
2) File names are not protected from this bug: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/374 ... sition-2-3

I've posted versions that work on my machine at <https://github.com/joshuarbholden/SCA-g ... in/Scripts>. Is there somewhere I should submit a pull request or a ticket?

Thanks!

Golly's source code is hosted on SourceForge, so a ticket or (even better) a pull request there should work. Thanks!

well it doesn't work on my computer now
it returns "Failed to open .rule file: [filepath]"
how to solve it?
tried, both anaconda and normal python don't work
win11, golly 4.3, python 12.7(normal) and 12.4(anaconda)

EDIT: On win 7, golly 4.2, python 8.10, it works correctly.
