Solution for 12-cell still life problem: (assuming johnway's lame of gife is B3/S23):

Code: Select all

x = 5, y = 4, rule = B3/S23
2ob2o$bobo$bobo$2ob2o!

oh, i am sorry. that is a period 8 oscillator. i hope not too much ang enters your mind once youve found this out.

its actually a period 8 oscillator called "stupid griefer who destroys my things to gain fake luv". (i told a griefer that i would name the next failed 12 cell still life attempt after them)

True solution of the 12 cell SL problem::

Code: Select all

x = 6, y = 6, rule = B3/S23
4bob$2bob2o$bo$4bo$2obo$bo!

CONGRATS! jonway owes you 10 coffees. i hope your mind gets filled with luv, and if it doesnt, go touch a catcus (that isnt a threat. if you think it is you need to go read more coolpedia)

Let's share coffees with b-engine! 5 coffees mine, 5 coffees to b-engine!

I'm ready to add 100KG of luv into my 10 coffees...

Wait a minute.

That seems to be in quantum superposition between having 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 26 cells simultaneously. So while you have not solved the 12 cell still life problem, you have indeed solved the lesser-known 21-cell still life problem because you take the average of them all and then add e^2 times the arctangent of the subordinating conjunction. But we're in F# Major here, so we need to capitalize the mitochondrion to signify that it is the powerhouse of the cell. When that's left, all you have to subtract is the Unnamed RutabagaPi-Engine Constant of Aweosmeness, which has been proven to be a natural number equivalent to the sum of 9 and 10 (meaning it can either be 0, 19, 21, 42, or 910). So that is also in quantum superposition (only because it's fun to say, though), so just take the average and round everything to the nearest polyatomic ion. This gives us 147 b-heptominoes, and a b-heptomino probably has like 7 cells or something, so divide it by 7 and you get 21. Yay.

Wait so it solves 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, and 26 all at once?

Yes, I solved 7 problems at once.
