An interesting rule. Most patterns are methuselahs, even very small ones, and it's difficult for cells to die.
There are three very interesting patterns I've found so far:
"Fish", a c/4 elementary glider.
"Shoot", a pattern that duplicates every 4 pixels.
"Pillar", a massive pattern that duplicates every few hundred pixels.
The right shape in the RLE forms "Pillar" after several thousand generations.

Code: Select all

x = 38, y = 6, rule = B2-a3i/S2-a34

We don't usually create new threads for rules unless they prove interesting enough; you can share results at Thread For Your Unrecognised CA. Aside from that, the name Coral is already reserved for B3/S45678; if you ask me, I think the large-scale texture is more similar to a brain with Alzheimer's disease.

Ok. thanks. I'll move it, and update the RLE (i found a new oscillator)
