Precede (Game)

This is a simple logic game, with one rule. Your post must contain a direct father to the post before it. Don't change the rule, and you should be fine.
An example would be:

Predecessors do not have to be optimal, but they can be. If the predecessor created is a garden of eden, congratulations, and we start a new pattern.

Here's the starting one, and it's in Life. It's well-known as a placed cell. Finding a predecessor is trickier, though.
