Large soups stabilize, although only after hundreds of thousands of generations, it just doesn't quite reach the explosive threshold. No extensive searching has been done, everything known (except for the puffer) has been found by manually searching through soups. There are things hiding in this rule, and these sort of rule spaces don't get the attention they deserve.

My rules didn’t get the attention they deserve too, but don’t complain about that - try to do something by yourself, whatever how.
Also try to make a thread of your own rules, and update the discoveries there. Never make too much thread with only one rule, unless it’s really interesting.
