If you log in to Discord.com, can you see the ConwayLife Lounge?

I'm not a Discord mod, nor am I any good at troubleshooting Discord problems, but there's a Discord user named "Book" who signed up to Discord in mid-May and joined the Lounge on August 24th. Not seeing anything blocking you from seeing the various channels -- assuming that's your account.

Well, after some fiddling, I managed to use the Lounge link and complete joining Discord. Seems I had an aborted attempt in August that went haywire. Thanks for the help.

I discovered a similar thing has started happening again, except that "Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid", and because I'm already logged it links me to a second page that continues to Discord.
